From Sherman's March to the Sea, witness the ruthless plundering of plantations that left a trail of destruction in its wake. In 1945, Churchill and Montgomery crossed the Rhine, their armies seizing victory but also leaving behind scenes of looting and pillaging. The United Irishmen Upon Duty engraving by Hannah Humphrey transports us to 1798, showcasing a vivid portrayal of chaos as plunderers ravaged through Ireland.
