"Policy: Shaping the Course of History and Society" From the grandeur of the Midwinter Ball in Canberra to the historic Congress of Vienna in 1814-1815, it has always played a pivotal role in shaping our world. Engravings capture a general view outside Silverdale House, Hampstead Road, London during a time when policies were being debated and decisions made. Even seemingly small changes like the transition from brass to cork fire helmets by the LCC-LFB demonstrate how they are impact safety and efficiency. William Howard Taft, as the 27th President of the United States, faced criticism for not having his own policies. A scolding cartoon from Judge in 1909 reminds us that leaders should have their own vision for their people. The Vic Election22 Labor Reception showcases how political parties use policy platforms to win over voters. Meanwhile, cartoons like "Hot Pies.
