"From ancient rituals to modern revolutions, the role of a priest transcends time and cultures. Anton Lavey, founder of the Church of Satan, challenged traditional notions of priesthood while Sacrament Sunday by William Teulon Blandford Fletcher depicted the solemnity and reverence in Christian worship. The Peasants Revolt led by Wat Tyler in 1380 showcased how priests were not immune to societal unrest. In Eastern traditions, Zen priest Ikkyu Osho exemplified spiritual enlightenment through his unorthodox teachings.
