The Scottish Covenanters proudly waved their flag as they fought for religious freedom against oppressive rulers. Meanwhile, Jonathan Edwards preached powerful sermons that ignited spiritual awakenings in colonial America. John Calvin's teachings on predestination and divine sovereignty continue to shape Protestant theology today.
