Fast forward to September 26th, 1934, where all eyes were on Queen Mary during the grand launching ceremony of RMS Queen Mary - a magnificent British liner that would become an icon in maritime history. An artist skillfully captured this momentous occasion for future generations to admire. Not only did Queen Mary leave her mark on monumental events but also paid tribute to those who came before her. On April 23rd, I937 at Windsor Castle, she unveiled a touching memorial dedicated to her late father-in-law – a poignant reminder of love and remembrance within royalty.
