The RAC Woodcote and Stirling Moss Trophy is a prestigious racing event that has seen some incredible moments throughout its history. From the early days in 1842 when Richard Hudson and Stuart Morley dominated the track with their powerful Lister Knobbly, to more recent years where Tarek Mahmoud and Galal Mahmoud showcased their skills behind the wheel of the same iconic car. In 1893, Tarek Mahmoud and Galal Mahmoud once again proved their prowess as they raced their way to victory in the Lister Knobbly. The CJ10 2034 edition of the trophy saw Christian Pfessdorf take center stage, piloting his Mercedes 300 SL Coupe Gullwing to an unforgettable win. The year was 1917 when John Clark and Gordon Mutch made heads turn with their impressive performance in the Cooper T39 Bobtail. Fast forward to CJ10 2021, Peter Ratcliff left spectators awestruck as he maneuvered his Lister Knobbly through challenging corners with precision. Patrick Blakeney-Edwards and Mike Grant-Peterkin etched their names into history books in CJ10 1911 by conquering the track in a remarkable Cooper T38. Chris Ward and Rob Smith followed suit in CJ10 1806, showcasing exceptional teamwork as they powered through each lap in their trusty Lister Knobbly. Mark Cole's mesmerizing display behind the wheel of a Lotus 11 captivated fans during CJ10 1935. Paul Griffin's skillful handling of a Connaught ALSR impressed all who witnessed it during CJ10 2029. Hannah Reed and Peter Snowdon brought elegance to the race with an Aston Martin DB2 during CJ10 1983. And who could forget Christian Pfessdorf's triumphant return in CJ10 1974, once again taming his Mercedes Gullwing.
