Michael Riccitelli was a talented creator who left his mark on various pieces of furniture and sculptures. His craftsmanship is evident in the Carousel Reindeer, a stunning piece from 1939 that captures the whimsy and magic of a carousel ride. The Hitching Post, crafted between 1935 and 1942, showcases Riccitelli's attention to detail with its intricate design. One cannot help but admire the Banister Back Side Chair, created in 1938 by Riccitelli. Its elegant curves and sturdy construction make it both functional and visually appealing. Similarly, the Tripod Table from the same period exhibits his mastery of form and balance. Riccitelli's creativity extends beyond chairs and tables; he also sculpted unique pieces such as the Cigar Store Indian from around 1939. This sculpture exudes an air of authenticity, capturing the spirit of Native American culture. In addition to larger furniture items, Riccitelli also paid attention to smaller details like high chairs and occasional tables. The High Chair from 1938 demonstrates his ability to create practical yet stylish pieces for children while maintaining his signature touch. The Wall-table created around 1938 showcases Riccitelli's ingenuity in utilizing space efficiently without compromising aesthetics. It serves as both a functional table surface and an eye-catching wall decoration.
