"Robert Bruce: A Legendary Figure in Scottish History" Standing tall and proud, the statue pays homage to a true Scottish hero. The seal of Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland in the 14th century, symbolizes his authority and power. In an act of bravery, Robert Bruce rescued Countess De Burgh from Montgomery Castle in 1836, leaving an unknown creator immortalized through their art. E Harding's artistic rendition captures the regal essence of Robert I, commonly known as Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland.
