Rod Bellas is a legendary figure in the world of motorcycle racing, known for his incredible skills and numerous partnerships throughout the years. From his collaborations with Danny Quirk (BLR Imp) in the 2016 Pre TT Classic to his unforgettable races alongside Dean Kilkenny (BLR Imp) in 2015, Rod has always been at the forefront of thrilling competitions. In 1983, Rod Bellas joined forces with Geoff Knight on a Kawasaki sidecar during the Sidecar TT event, showcasing their exceptional teamwork and determination. Two years prior, he teamed up with Alan Fisher on a Cooper Kawasaki for another exhilarating Sidecar TT race that left spectators in awe. Not limited to just one type of bike or competition, Rod also ventured into other events such as the Southern 100. In 1991, he partnered with Geoff Knight on a Suzuki and later reunited with him in 2009 riding a BLR Honda. These races highlighted their versatility as they conquered different terrains and challenges. The Sidecar TT has been witness to some of Rod's most memorable moments. In 2004, he rode alongside Philip Roberts on a Windle Yamaha while forming an unstoppable duo with Geoff Knight once again in 2003 when they faced off against Conrad Harrison & Chris Wedgewood (DMR Honda). Their performances were nothing short of spectacular. Throughout his career, Rod Bellas showcased remarkable consistency and skill. His partnership with Lenny Pallister on a Yamaha during the intense Sidecar TT race of 1982 demonstrated their ability to push boundaries and set new standards. Similarly impressive was his collaboration with Geoff Knight on a Yamaha sidecar during the thrilling race of 1989. As we look forward to future races, it's clear that Rod Bellas shows no signs of slowing down.
