Round glasses have been a symbol of iconic figures and groundbreaking inventions throughout history. From John Lennon and Yoko Ono's famous photo in The Beatles Apple Office in Savile Row, to Professor Samuel Finley Breese Morse's intense gaze in an engraving, they have transcended their functional purpose. Even Сергей and Доктор Нямкина, characters from Soviet literature, donned these timeless frames in their respective stories. The round shape can be traced back to the early 19th century, as seen in James Hook's engraving from 1813. Fast forward to the 1930s, and they were issued as service glasses, complete with a sturdy sheet metal case. A 13-year-old David Roberts from Tottenham, London, eagerly tried out the controls, showcasing the universal appeal of these round spectacles.
