"Journey through the Depths: A Glimpse into the S Capital's Inferno" Inferno, Canto 7: Virgil guides Dante to witness the wrathful souls tormented in the Styx. Their anguished cries echo through the dark abyss, a chilling reminder of their uncontrolled anger. Inferno, Canto 6: The gluttons endure an eternal downpour, battered by relentless rain. Their insatiable appetites have now become their never-ending punishment. Purgatorio, Canto 19: Amongst the avaricious souls stands Adrian V, once Pope Adrien V himself. His greed for wealth and power led him astray from his divine duties. Canto 23: Dante recognizes Forese Donati amidst the gluttonous souls. In life, they indulged in excessive pleasures without restraint; now condemned to suffer eternally for their lack of self-control. Inferno, Canto 7: The avaricious and prodigal are forced to roll heavy burdens endlessly. Their obsession with material possessions has trapped them in an eternal cycle of laborious torment. Purgatorio, Canto 11: Prideful souls bear heavy stones as symbols of their arrogance and vanity. These sculptures serve as reminders that pride comes before a fall - even in death. Canto 13: Envious souls writhe in agony as they confront their own jealousy and resentment towards others' blessings. They learn too late that envy only breeds misery within oneself. Canto 18 &, Canto20 : Multitudes of slothful and avaricious souls fill these cantos with illustrations depicting their indolence and insatiable desire for wealth respectively. Both groups face consequences for squandering time or obsessing over earthly treasures instead of pursuing spiritual growth. Canto 25.
