The Scottish breed is a diverse and hardworking group of animals, known for their resilience and adaptability. From the majestic Clydesdale Horse to the sturdy Highland Cattle, these creatures have played an integral role in various landscapes across the United Kingdom. In Hampshire, England, two adults can be seen working as a team at a ploughing match with their Clydesdale Horses. The strength and grace of these magnificent horses are evident as they effortlessly navigate through the fields. Moving on to Somerset, we find a Domestic Cattle Highland Cow standing proudly beside a direction signpost at Porlock Post Junction in Exmoor. This picturesque scene showcases not only the beauty of this particular breed but also its presence in rural communities. Traveling further north to Cumbria, England, we encounter a stallion grazing peacefully in a meadow. The sight of this Clydesdale Horse against the backdrop of rolling hills is truly breathtaking. Continuing our journey through Cumbria, we come across Belted Galloway beef herds standing stoically in frost-covered pastures at Brough near Kirkby Stephen. These Domestic Cattle exemplify resilience even in harsh winter conditions. Heading towards Edale within Peak District National Park brings us face-to-face with Belted Galloway cows and bulls standing confidently together as one herd. Their presence adds charm to the already stunning landscape. In Ponterwyd within Cambrian Mountains, Mid Wales during December stands another group of Highland cows on a hill farm. Despite the cold weather, these Domestic Cattle showcase their ability to thrive even in challenging environments. A close-up shot captures both yearling steers and resting cows amidst upland pastures during July in England. The distinct features of Highland Cattle are highlighted here – from their impressive horns to their shaggy coats that protect them from varying climates throughout the year.
