In the thrilling world of vintage car racing, the Singer Le Mans stands as a true icon. With its sleek design and powerful engine, this remarkable vehicle has left an indelible mark on motorsport history. One such unforgettable moment took place in 1939 when the Singer Le Mans competed in the MG Car Club Abingdon Trial/Rally. The adrenaline was palpable as it zoomed through challenging terrains, showcasing its exceptional performance and handling skills. But that wasn't the only time this extraordinary machine made headlines. In 1934, Archie Langley took his Singer Le Mans to compete in the RSAC Scottish Rally. The artist Bill Brunell beautifully captured this historic event, immortalizing Langley's determination and skill behind the wheel. Not to be outdone, FA Thatcher also showcased his driving prowess at the same rally with his own Singer Le Mans. The roaring engines echoed through Glenshee as these fearless competitors pushed their limits on treacherous roads. Alf Langley was another force to be reckoned with during that fateful year of 1934 at the RSAC Scottish Rally. His Singer Le Mans conquered every twist and turn along Devils Elbow in Glenshee, leaving spectators awestruck by its speed and precision. The legacy continued into 1936 when WJB Richardson fearlessly faced off against W Hetherington's SS Jaguar saloon at yet another RSAC Scottish Rally. These two formidable opponents battled it out on rugged tracks, displaying their unwavering determination to claim victory. TL McDonald further added to the glory in 1936 by participating in yet another RSAC Scottish Rally. Bill Brunell once again captured this exhilarating moment on canvas, perfectly encapsulating McDonald's relentless pursuit for triumph amidst breathtaking landscapes. The Mid Surrey AC Barnstaple Trial witnessed a spectacle like no other when a pair cars took to the stage in 1934.
