Study a meticulously crafted 16th-century map showcasing intricate details of the British Isles or marvel at a world map from that same era, revealing uncharted territories waiting to be discovered by intrepid explorers. Intriguing figures such as Archbishop Thomas Cranmer left their mark on history through religious reforms while barbershops served as social hubs where gossip flowed freely amidst haircuts and shaves. The Tudor Exhibition held in 1890 showcased fascinating artifacts like items belonging to the notorious Borgia Family who wielded immense influence throughout Europe during this period. Sir John Smithes' armor from 1585 stands tall, its pen-and-ink depiction capturing both its grandeur and protective strength.
