The following year saw Chris Fargher on his Yamaha and Kenny Shepherd on his Spondon dominating the Junior TT race. Barry Clay continued this legacy in 1987 when he triumphed at the Junior Manx Grand Prix aboard his trusty Spondon machine. Ivan's lightning-fast reflexes allowed him to conquer even the most treacherous sections of this legendary racecourse. Andy Potts proved himself worthy during the 1996 Newcomers Manx Grand Prix by showcasing both courage and finesse on a Spondon machine.
