From the Santa Maria Novella Church in Florence to the Piazza del Campo in Siena, these sculptures transport us back to a time when creativity and innovation flourished. In the heart of Florence stands the Santa Maria Novella Church, its square adorned with an exquisite statue that captures the essence of this artistic era. The Fonte Gaia in Siena's Piazza del Campo mesmerizes visitors with its intricate details and timeless beauty. Venturing further into Venice, we encounter Antonio Rizzo's masterpiece - The Scala dei Giganti (Giants' staircase) within the courtyard of Doges' Palace. Its grandeur leaves onlookers awestruck, showcasing the skill and craftsmanship prevalent during this period. As we continue our journey through Venice, we stumble upon another architectural gem -the former civic hospital composed of Scuola Grande di San Marco, Dominican Convent, and St. Lazarus Old People's Home. Tullio Lombardo and Mauro Codussi collaborated to create a facade that exudes elegance and sophistication. The Church of Saint Zachariah is yet another testament to Venetian ingenuity. Initiated by Antonio Gambello in 1458 but completed by Mauro Codussi, it showcases their mastery over design elements that define early Renaissance architecture. Moving northwards towards Perugia, we are greeted by a breathtaking view of Castello Sforzesco with its Tower of Bona guarding the entrance to the ducal court – an imposing sight that reflects both power and grace. Perugia also boasts another marvel -the facade of Saint Bernardino Oratory- which captivates viewers with its intricate detailing and harmonious proportions.
