From monumental moments to everyday scenes, these captivating images offer a glimpse into different eras and cultures. Travel back to 1876 with Stanley Morrow's photograph of the Little Bighorn Monument on Custer's Hill. This somber image showcases all the bones found at the site of the infamous Battle of Little Bighorn, serving as a poignant reminder of this historic event. Henry Hamilton Bennett takes us even further back in time with his 1893 stereograph titled "Golgotha and the Crucifixion. " Through his lens, we witness this pivotal moment in religious history, allowing us to reflect on its significance. In 1879, Mormon pioneers embarked on their journey to Utah captured by an unknown photographer. The image portrays a wagon train making its way across vast landscapes, symbolizing determination and resilience during challenging times. Shifting gears from historical events to cherished childhood memories, c1902 presents four girls gathered around a table for a delightful tea party with their dolls. This charming stereograph captures innocence and playfulness frozen in time. Moving forward into more modern times is the USS Akron (ZRS-4) photographed during its construction in Akron, Ohio in 1931. This technological marvel showcases human ingenuity reaching new heights as airships took flight. Returning to Henry Hamilton Bennett's work is his depiction of General W. H. L Wallace leading troops during battle while General Grant gives orders nearby. These powerful images provide insight into military strategies employed during significant conflicts. The Crescent Regiment of New Orleans charging through enemy lines alongside the First Arkansas Consolidated Regiment demonstrates bravery amidst chaos during war-torn years - both photographs taken by Bennett himself in 1887. Stepping away from warfare but still within industrial progress is an intriguing snapshot from around 1915.
