Steve Henshaw: A Legend on Two Wheels With a career spanning over a decade, Steve Henshaw left an indelible mark on the world of motorcycle racing. From his early days with Honda in the 1989 Formula One TT to his triumphs with Coppock Suzuki and EMC, Henshaw's talent was undeniable. In 1982, he showcased his skills at the Senior TT riding for Coppock Suzuki, earning himself a place among the elite riders of that era. The following year, he took on the Junior TT with EMC and once again proved why he was considered one of the best. Teaming up with Johnny Rea in 1986 for the Formula One TT on Suzuki bikes further solidified Henshaw's reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Their partnership resulted in an unforgettable performance that left spectators awestruck. Henshaw continued to excel throughout his career, claiming victory at various races including the prestigious Senior TT in 1988 while riding for Suzuki. His determination and skill were evident as he pushed boundaries and shattered records. Not only did Henshaw dominate traditional road racing events but also made waves in production races. Partnering with Yamaha and Mike Seward, they clinched victory at both Production A TT and Production 1300 TT in 1988 before securing another win at Production B TT aboard a Suzuki bike in 1987. His final triumph came in 1989 when he conquered yet another production race – this time it was Yamaha's turn to bask in glory during the fiercely competitive Production 1300 TT event.
