"Strap: A Timeless Connection to History and Style" Step back in time to 1937, when Rolex precision watches adorned the wrists of the elite, their straps symbolizing elegance and sophistication. As you descend into the depths of the underground, straphangers clutch onto sturdy straps for support, a reminder of the bustling city life that never sleeps. In a black-and-white photograph from another era, David Wright captures a woman in a short black underslip, her delicate strap hinting at hidden desires and secrets. The charismatic Marcus Garvey stands tall in his parade attire. His confident stride accentuated by an impeccably crafted strap on his wrist - a symbol of his unwavering commitment to Jamaican black nationalism. Traveling further back in time to 1929, pocket watches gave way to wristwatches. A studio photo reveals a young man donning an army uniform during WW1; his trusty strap serving as both practicality and sentimentality. Law enforcement relied on their trusted tools too. The Metropolitan Police cosh was securely fastened with a leather strap - an emblem of authority and protection. A vibrant oil painting transports us to 1934 where we encounter a flower seller with weathered hands holding tightly onto her worn-out strap; her resilience mirrored by this simple accessory. Advertisements from 1938 showcase Asprey men's leather wristwatches - luxurious timepieces that exude refinement through every stitch of their meticulously crafted straps. Amidst changing fashion trends, the Litesome Body Belt emerges as an innovative accessory designed for comfort and style. Its adjustable strap providing freedom while maintaining impeccable shape. David Wright's artistry strikes again as he captures another captivating image: a woman clad in black negligee seductively posing next to a red telephone. Her alluring presence heightened by the sensuousness of her delicate strap against porcelain skin.
