The Evening Wireless buzzes with news of the Komarjan Bridge, where the Surrey Yeomanry stands guard on the Struma Valley front during WW1. Scouts, keeping a keen eye, had a brush with the enemy, discovering their position near Salonika. As the sun rises, soldiers prepare to go into action on the barraged road of Blaga Planina. Kakaraska is held, but not without a fight, as scouts bring back reports under heavy fire. From their post on the Worm, observers watch Salmah, ever vigilant. The Gudeli Track echoes with the sounds of starting the day's war. Amidst it all, British gunners with their 18-pounders and artillery teams on the Macedonian Front remain steadfast, shrouded in the mist of the Struma Valley towards the Belachitza Mountains.
