Among them was Ethel Snowden, a passionate advocate for women's rights who fearlessly fought alongside her fellow suffragists. The struggle faced by these brave women is captured beautifully in Aubrey Beardsley's artwork "The Pseudonym and Antonym Libraries" from 1895. It serves as a reminder of the obstacles they encountered on their journey towards equality. Notable figures like Ida B. Wells, Alice Paul, and Helen Keller also played crucial roles in advancing women's rights during this time period.
