The roar of engines filled the air as drivers pushed their beloved machines to the limit, showcasing both skill and determination. Amongst the contenders was CJ9 9304 James Cottingham behind the wheel of his remarkable Tojeiro-Jaguar. With its sleek design and powerful engine, it was a force to be reckoned with on the track. Not far behind was CJ8 1762 Stephan Rettenmaier in his Maserati Tipo 63, exuding elegance and speed. CM25 6244 Michael Gans showcased his expertise in handling the Lotus Climax 15, maneuvering through corners with precision and finesse. Meanwhile, CM25 6289 Max Werner commanded attention with his Hagemann Sutton car, effortlessly gliding across the asphalt. Olivier Ellerbrock made heads turn as he unleashed the power of his Scarab Chevrolet MK1 (CM25 6317), leaving spectators in awe. CJ8 1703 Kurt Engelhorn's Lister Jaguar Costin (CJ8 1716) also left a lasting impression with its distinctive appearance and thunderous engine. Massimo Bettati (CJ12 1823), James Wood (CJ12 1821), Will Nuthall (CJ12 1820), Julian Majzub (CJ12 1817), and Olivier Hart (CJ12-1815) all piloted Lotus-Climax models or other iconic vehicles that added to this thrilling display of automotive history. As each lap passed by, these racing enthusiasts battled for supremacy on every straightaway and hairpin turn. The crowd held their breaths during intense overtakes while marveling at these timeless beauties roaring past them at incredible speeds.
