In "Girl Riding a Crane, " he playfully parodied Hi Chobo's Chinese masterpiece Fei Zhangfang, showcasing his creativity and wit. Another captivating piece is "Young man being handed his sedge hat, " where Harunobu masterfully captured the moment of anticipation and elegance. Harunobu also delved into themes of love and romance. In "A Teenage Boy and Girl with a Viewer for an Optique Picture, " he depicted Kobo Da exploring the world of optical illusions alongside a young girl, highlighting their innocence and curiosity. His exploration of sensuality can be seen in "First Leaf of the Shunga; The Delightful Love Adventures of Maneyemon. " This provocative work showcases Harunobu's ability to portray intimate moments with grace and beauty.
