From the stunning sunrise over Tabgha in 1934 to the recently excavated Roman remains at Ain Tabgha in 1920, this location has captivated hearts for centuries. The German hospice at Ain Tabgha, established by Father Miller and later managed by Father J Taepper, served as a haven for travelers seeking solace amidst its tranquil gardens. The enchanting views of Palestine from Ain Tabgha's site near Bethsaida were captured on film in 1937 by Air Films. These aerial shots showcased the breathtaking landscapes that surrounded this sacred place nestled between Jerusalem, Galilee, and Samaria. In 1920, visitors marveled at the ancient church's apse while exploring Ain Tabgha. Its historical significance was evident as they gazed upon its time-worn walls and imagined the stories it held within. The copious spring flowing through Ain Tabgha added to its allure.
