Their striking features make them stand out amidst lush rainforest clearings or in captivity. Not forgetting the Brown-mantled tamarin or Saddleback tamarin with its distinctive markings that resemble a saddle on its back. These unique characteristics set them apart from other members of their species. Whether it's the Golden-headed Lion Tamarin Leontopithecus rosalia chrysomelas or the Golden-mantled tamarin captive at Apenhaul Netherlands; each one has something special to offer. They remind us of the incredible diversity present within this primate family. Whether observed from an aerial view during a breathtaking sunset or encountered up close in various parts of Brazil and South America - tamarins continue to fascinate us with their beauty and charm.
