Tea plantations, a mesmerizing sight that spans across continents and cultures. From the lush hills of Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka to the mist-covered Munnar in India's Western Ghats Mountains, these vast expanses of tea estates captivate with their beauty and rich history. In Sri Lanka's Hill Country, specifically Haputale and Nuwara Eliya Districts, tea plantations stretch as far as the eye can see. The rolling hills are adorned with neatly lined rows of tea bushes, creating a picturesque landscape that is synonymous with this region. Here, amidst the cool climate and fertile soil, some of the world's finest teas are cultivated. Assam too has its own tale to tell when it comes to tea cultivation. An engraving depicts workers tending to tea plants on an estate in this northeastern state of India. The labor-intensive process involved in nurturing these plants showcases the dedication required for producing Assam's renowned teas. Further east lies Malaysia's Cameron Highlands where Sungai Palas Estate stands proudly amidst Southeast Asia's stunning landscapes. This plantation offers breathtaking views as visitors wander through endless fields of vibrant green leaves under clear blue skies. As dawn breaks over Haputale in Sri Lanka Hill Country or Munnar in Kerala, India; golden rays illuminate the tea plantations like nature’s own spotlight. The tranquil ambiance combined with panoramic vistas creates an ethereal experience that lingers long after sunrise fades away. The journey continues aboard Kandy to Badulla train alongside yet another enchanting scene - a sprawling carpet of emerald green stretching along railway tracks in Central Province, Sri Lanka. Passing by Ella and 98 Acres Resort and Spa adds charm to this already captivating voyage through time-honored traditions. Munnar once again emerges from mist-covered mountains revealing its true allure - terraced slopes covered with meticulously pruned tea bushes reaching towards infinity.
