"The Classic Silverstone: A Timeless Gathering of Automotive Legends" The iconic Silverstone Circuit came alive with the roar of engines as a diverse range of classic cars took to the track. Among them was CJ11 8175, driven by Jamie Sturges, showcasing the timeless elegance of the BMW E28 M535i. Jason Minshaw and Guy Minshaw were not far behind in their Toyota Corolla AE86, effortlessly maneuvering through every twist and turn. Their skillful driving left spectators in awe as they pushed their car to its limits. Iain Rowley made heads turn with his Lotus 22, CM33 7959, displaying both power and finesse on the tarmac. Meanwhile, Crispian Besley showcased his talent behind the wheel of Kieft FJ, CM33 7958. Nicholas Fennell and Philipp Buhofer proved that age is just a number as they unleashed their Lotus 27s onto the circuit. The sleek design combined with their expert handling created an exhilarating spectacle for all to witness. Benn Simms demonstrated precision driving in his Caravelle Mk2, CM33 7953 while John Chisholm wowed spectators with not one but two Gemini MK3As (CM33 7951 & CM33 7949). Dave Wall also joined in on the action with his Gemini Mk2 (CM33 7948). Nigel Lackford added a touch of nostalgia to the event with his Elva 100 (CM33 7947), capturing everyone's attention wherever he went. Peter Anstiss showcased remarkable control over his Lotus20-22 (CM33 7942). Last but certainly not least was Tim Child who shared some thrilling moments alongside Philipp Buhofer in their respective Lotus models - Tim piloting a Lotus22 and Philipp commanding a Lotus27. The Classic Silverstone brought together automotive enthusiasts from all walks of life, celebrating the enduring beauty and performance of these timeless machines.
