Former Specials keyboard player Jerry Dammers showed off his DJ skills at the Cov Aid concert, bringing back memories of the iconic band's heyday. The Specials, known for their unique blend of ska and punk, even had a chip shop named after them called The Parsons Nose. It was in this humble establishment that fans could grab a bite to eat while immersing themselves in the sounds of their favorite pop group. But it wasn't just about food and music; Coventry Lanchester Polytechnic became a stage for Terry Hall and The Colourfield to captivate audiences with their mesmerizing performances. Last night, as the top pop group returned home to Coventry, nostalgia filled the air as fans relished in the magic that only they are create.
