"Capturing the Passage of Time: A Glimpse into Ethel Davies' Lens" Step into a time machine as we explore a collection of captivating "then and now" images by renowned photographer, Ethel Davies. From the serene Richmond Hill View in Surrey, England on June 28th, 2010 to Cardiff's vibrant Mermaid Quay in 2009, each photograph tells a unique story. Davies takes us on a journey through Birmingham's historic Boulton, Watt, Mudoch district in 2009 - an area steeped in industrial heritage. Meanwhile, the National Theatre at South Bank stands proudly against London's skyline on March 16th, 2010. In Aldeburgh, Suffolk on May 25th, 2010, we witness Hamblings Scallop sculpture gracefully adorning the beachfront. Peterborough Guildhall showcases its timeless elegance captured by Davies back in 2006. The enchanting views along South Bank come alive through her lens once more in these snapshots from 2007. Rye's charming streets and picturesque landscapes are frozen forever with two identical photographs taken by Davies on March 14th, 2010. From atop Primrose Hill Park overlooking the City of London to Camden's tranquil Camley Gardens captured on January 30th, 2010; every image is imbued with nostalgia and beauty. Lastly, the iconic Millennium (Wobbly) Bridge stands strong amidst London's bustling cityscape as seen through Ethel Davies' eyes on September3rd, 2010. Through her artistry and meticulous attention to detail, Ethel Davies invites us to reflect upon the passage of time and appreciate how places evolve while still retaining their essence.
