Throwback to Thursday 22nd March 2018: A day filled with roaring engines, sleek designs, and adrenaline-fueled races. The CJ7 1342 driven by Jon Dooley showcased the power of the Alfa Romeo Berlina, leaving spectators in awe. Meanwhile, CM22 7475 piloted by Mike Cantillon took on the track with precision and skill in the iconic Tyrrell 010. The CJ7 1324 duo of Billy Nairn and Carl Nairn proved that size doesn't matter as they dominated in their nimble Austin Mini Cooper S. Not far behind them was Dave Edgecombe in another Austin Mini Cooper S (CJ7 1340), pushing boundaries and leaving tire marks on every turn. David Smithies and Chris Clarkson teamed up to unleash pure speed in the CJ7 1328 AC Cobra Daytona Coupe, while also showcasing their versatility in the CJ7 1329 Austin Healey 3000. Mike Donovan fearlessly commanded his Lola T70 MK3B (CJ7 1307), demonstrating why he's a force to be reckoned with. Warren Briggs made his mark not once but twice; first with CM22 7458 McLaren M29, proving that innovation can lead to victory. Then again with CJ7 1327 Ford Mustang, reminding everyone of classic American muscle power. James Billy Bellinger wowed audiences as he gracefully maneuvered his Morgan Plus Eight (CJ7 1325) through each twist and turn of the track. Kevin Hancock and Leigh Smart showed off their teamwork driving skills in both CJ7s - first conquering the Ford Mustang GT350 (CJ71326) then taking it up a notch with CM22's version (7431). Thursday, March twenty-second will forever be etched into racing history as a day where legends were born on wheels.
