Tony Smith, a name synonymous with speed and precision in the world of motorcycles and racing. With his trusty BSA 1969 Production 750 TT, he conquered every track he set foot on. Alongside him were Sebastian Perez, Roger Ashby, Triumph 650, Sophie Smith, and the legendary BSA Gold Star. In 1972, Tony Smith took on a new challenge with his BSA once again in the Formula 750 TT race. The thrill of pushing himself to the limit was what fueled his passion for racing. And it didn't stop there; he also ventured into Yamaha's Lightweight TT in 1970. But Tony's love for motorcycles extended beyond just one brand. In 1968 and 1967 Production TT races, he showcased his skills on another powerful BSA machine. And let's not forget about his unforgettable performance at the Matchless Senior Classic Manx Grand Prix in 1993. However, Tony wasn't only known for conquering tracks on two wheels; he had a need for speed that transcended boundaries. His CJ11 Ferrari Dino left spectators breathless as it roared down the racetrack alongside CJ9 Ferrari Dino driven by none other than Sophie Smith herself. The sight of Tony behind the wheel of CM34 Ferrari Dino was awe-inspiring - an epitome of elegance combined with raw power. Every turn and every acceleration displayed his mastery over these magnificent machines. And when it came to McIntyre Matchless G50 bikes ridden by both Tony and Sophie Smith together - they formed an unstoppable duo that left their competitors trailing behind. Tony Smith's legacy is etched into history through each race won and each record broken. He remains an icon who pushed boundaries fearlessly while leaving us all captivated by his sheer talent and unwavering determination to conquer any challenge thrown at him.
