These brave individuals risk it all to ensure the safety and smooth running of some of the most prestigious races in history. From iconic events like the Isle of Man TT to the thrilling Manx Grand Prix, these marshals have left an indelible mark on the sport. One such legend is Alan Kipper Killip, who rode his Honda with unmatched skill during the 1978 TT. His presence on the track was both commanding and reassuring, making him a beloved figure among racers and fans alike. Not one to be outdone, he returned in 1977 astride his Triumph, leaving spectators in awe with his sheer determination. Another name etched into racing folklore is Randall Cowell. As a travelling marshal for BSA at the 1968 Manx Grand Prix, Cowell's expertise shone through as he navigated treacherous corners with finesse. His unwavering commitment to safety earned him respect throughout the racing community. But it wasn't just about speed; sometimes it was about camaraderie too. Mike Kneen's tenure as a travelling marshal during the 1983 Manx Grand Prix saw him become part of "The Little and Large Show. Keith Trubshaw also made waves when he took up his role as a travelling marshal at the 1987 Manx Grand Prix.
