Amidst the hallowed grounds of Westminster Abbey, the Unknown Warrior's final resting place in The Shrine of Honour stands as a testament to the brave and the fallen. Punctuated by poignant moments, such as the Peace procession of Indian troops saluting him at the Cenotaph, the Unknown Warrior's homecoming was marked by solemn ceremonies and heartfelt tributes. From the Coronation Chair in the Jerusalem Chamber to his grave, the Unknown Warrior's journey from the battlefields of the Great War to his eternal rest was filled with reverence and respect. The railway car at Victoria Station bore his coffin, as thousands gathered to pay their respects, and the gun carriage led the procession through the streets of London and Boulogne, France. On Remembrance Day, 1920, the Unknown Warrior was laid to rest, his sacrifice forever etched in history and in the hearts of those he left behind.
