Vasily Semyonovich, a renowned artist of the 19th century, captured the essence of Saint Petersburg through his masterful paintings. In the bustling streets of Nevsky Prospekt and City Duma, he depicted the vibrant energy that filled the city in the 1830s. His brushstrokes brought to life scenes like "The Meat Merchant, " showcasing the daily hustle and bustle of commerce in 1830-1831. Moving along to another masterpiece, Vasily's attention turned towards architecture as he portrayed the elegant House of M. D. Tarasova at Fontanka embankment in 1861.
