Vlad III, also known as Vlad the Impaler, was a notorious figure in European history. Born in 1431, he ruled as Prince of Wallachia and left an indelible mark on Romania. One of the most iconic locations associated with him is Castle Bran, situated in the picturesque town of Bran. Stepping into Castle Bran's interior feels like entering a world shrouded in mystery. Secret passageways wind through its walls, whispering tales of Vlad III's cunning strategies and his reign during the late 15th century.
