"Vladimir the Great: The Architect of a Powerful Dynasty" In 980-1015, Grand Duke Vladimir Svyatoslavich embarked on a remarkable campaign to Chersonesos, leaving an indelible mark on history. This iconic event is immortalized in the 1904 masterpiece "Campaign to Chersonesos by Vladimir the Great. " The numismatic world also pays homage to this great ruler with a coin bearing his portrait. Minted between 980 and 1015, this Zlatnik serves as a testament to his reign's significance. One of the most pivotal moments in Vladimir's life was his baptism, depicted in the anonymous artwork from the Radziwill Chronicle dating back to the 15th century. This religious conversion marked a turning point for Russia and solidified Christianity as its dominant faith.
