The Walter Hayes Trophy 2014 was a thrilling display of speed and skill, as drivers from various backgrounds battled it out on the track. CM5 7842 Jonathan Hoad showcased his talent in the Van Diemen RF90, maneuvering through corners with precision and grace. Meanwhile, CM5 7140 Sarah Hutchison took to the circuit in her Lotus Seven S2, leaving spectators in awe of her fearless driving. The roar of engines filled the air as CM5 7036 Maddy Maguire pushed her MG ZR160 to its limits, proving that she was a force to be reckoned with. But it was Jonathan Hoad who stole the show once again, this time behind the wheel of his trusty Van Diemen RF90 (CM5 7870). His consistent performance throughout the tournament earned him well-deserved recognition. With each lap he completed flawlessly (CM5 7907), he solidified his status as one of the top contenders for victory. Jennifer Mullan and Nigel Adams also left their mark on this prestigious event. Mullan's Reynard 84FF (CM5 7725) and Adams' Lotus 61 (CM5 7725) demonstrated their expertise on every turn, captivating audiences with their daring maneuvers. Other notable participants included Robert Keogh in his Ginetta G40 (CM5 7647), Oliver Bull showcasing his skills in a Caterham CSR (CM57637 & CM56731), Klaus Dieter-Hackel navigating a Van Diemen RF88 (CM57331), Matthew Dunne racing alongside David McArthur in Crossle35F and Van Diemen LA10 respectively (CM57313). John Bowles impressed everyone with his Tui BH2 (CM57181). The competition was fierce but camaraderie prevailed among these talented racers who shared a common passion for speed and adrenaline.
