The World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), also known as the FIA World Touring Car Championship, is a thrilling international racing series that showcases some of the best touring car drivers from around the globe. With its rich history and exciting races, it has become a favorite among motorsport enthusiasts. One memorable moment in WTCC history was when Andy Priaulx launched the Guernsey WTCC Championship Stamp, highlighting the championship's global reach and popularity. This stamp served as a testament to the sport's impact on both local and international levels. From iconic circuits like Oschersleben in Germany to Brno in Czech Republic, each race brings its own unique challenges and excitement. The FIA WTCC Oschersleben race held on August 30-31, 2008 showcased intense competition between skilled drivers vying for victory. Similarly, the FIA WTCC Brno race held on June 16-17, 2007 provided fans with edge-of-the-seat action as drivers pushed their cars to their limits on this demanding track. The championship has seen many historic moments throughout its existence. In one such instance at Oschersleben in Germany on August 28th, 2005 during Rd7 of the FIA World Touring Car Championship, spectators witnessed breathtaking overtakes and fierce battles for positions. Another unforgettable race took place in Istanbul-Turchia on September 18th, 2005 where competitors showcased their skills amidst challenging conditions. The Wtcc Istanbul-Turchia event left fans amazed by the sheer talent displayed by these world-class drivers. In more recent years, such as during the highly anticipated season of 2010 World Touring Car Championship or at Macau's legendary Guia Circuit for Macau WTCC Guia Touring Cars event - each year brought new thrills and surprises for both participants and spectators alike. The following year saw another exhilarating season unfold in the 2011 World Touring Car Championship.
