This exquisite 17th century sculpture depicts Vajravarahi, the fierce and compassionate Buddhist goddess of Tibetan Buddhism. The statue, made of copper alloy, stands at approximately 11 inches tall and is adorned with intricate details and vibrant colors. Vajravarahi is shown in a dynamic posture, with one leg folded and the other extended, and her right hand in the mudra of granting boons, while her left hand holds a skull cup, symbolizing the offering of her own essence for the enlightenment of all beings. The exact origin of this sculpture is unknown, but it is believed to have been created in Tibet during the 17th century.
