West-Siberian Railroad. Testing the First Section of the Bridge Across the Irtysh River, 1892-1896. From an album of 50 photographs in the Collection of Documentary Materials on the History of the West-Siberian Railroad (1890s-1978) in the Novosibirsk Oblast State Archive. The album documents the construction of the West Siberian railroad and the railroad between the cities of Ekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk. The images in the album, by the artist and printer Artur Ivanovich Vil'borg (born 1856), include views of railroad bridges over the Ushaika, Tom', and Lebiazh'ia Rivers, the passenger depots at the Tomsk, Ob', and Oiash stations, and portraits of engineers and other personnel involved in the railroad construction
