As we sit with Aunt Susie in the cozy drawing room of Arundel House, surrounded by the opulent furnishings of an English country estate, we are struck by her quiet confidence and gentle wisdom. Her eyes, framed by spectacles perched on the end of her nose, seem to hold a deep understanding and empathy for all those around her.
This photograph is not only a testament to Dodd's skill as an artist but also a celebration of Dacre's remarkable life - one marked by activism, artistry, and unwavering dedication to the causes she believed in.
