Millbank Estate, Ruskin House, Herrick Street, Millbank, City of Westminster, Greater London. A bricklayer at work on the repair of Ruskin House on the Millbank Estate, following bomb damage to the building.
The Millbank Estate consisted of twelve blocks of flats and the repairs depicted in the image are to Ruskin House. The Millbank estate was built in the early 20th century and was one of the most significant estates built by the London County Council. The blocks remain standing in 2020 and received listed status in 1970
