Dulwich Leisure Centre was built as Dulwich Baths in the early 1890s. The building was designed by Henry Spalding and Alfred William Stephens Cross, who specialised in design of public baths. It is Grade II listed. In the 1970s the original roof structure above the swimming pool was concealed by a suspended ceiling, which was removed in 2002
