This print showcases Princess Ena D880030b, also known as Princess Victoria Eugenie Julia Ena of Battenberg. Taken at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight, this image is a part of The Ryde Album collection held by Historic England Photo Library. Princess Ena was born in 1887 and was the granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Her parents were Prince Henry and Princess Beatrice. In 1906, she made headlines when she converted to Catholicism and later married King Alfonso XIII of Spain. This union would make her the grandmother of King Juan Carlos I of Spain.
