The Ankylosaurus, a member of the Ankylosauridae family and the Ankylosaurinae subfamily, is distinguished by its unique armor-plated body and club-like tail. This armored dinosaur, which belonged to the Diapsida class, Archosauria order, and Dinosauria clade, is believed to have roamed the Mesozoic Era, specifically the Late Cretaceous period, around 71 million to 68 million years ago.
