This stunning hand-coloured aquatint engraving captures the grandeur and pomp of the 12th Carriage of the Royal Household in Queen Victoria's Coronation Parade on June 28, 1838. The carriage, drawn by six black horses, is attended by the most esteemed members of the Queen's household. In the foreground, the Principal Lady of the Bedchamber, Anne Caulfield, Countess of Charlemont, is depicted in elegant attire, accompanied by the Marchioness of Tavistock, Flora Hastings, and the Marchioness of Lansdowne. The Lord Chamberlain, Francis Nathaniel Conyngham, Marquis of Conyngham, and the Lord Steward, George John Douglas Campbell, Duke of Argyll, are also present, each resplendent in their respective robes and insignia.
