Admiral in the second edition of "Naauwkeurige Waarneemingen omtrent de veranderingen van veele Insekten" (Accurate Descriptions of the Metamorphoses of Insects) published by J. Sluyter in Amsterdam in 1774, showcases the enchanting transformation of the Gatekeeper butterfly, Pyronia tithonus.
