London Fire Brigade Lambeth headquarters building
Located on the Albert Embankment, Lambeth, the London Fire Brigade headquarters was opened by King George VI in 1937. A purpose built, state of the art facility when first opened, it remained the headquarters until 2002. The Headquarters was then relocated to Southwark, taking over a former Royal Mail sorting office. Date: circa 1950s
