Born Princess Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg in London, Ena was the youngest daughter of Prince Henry of Battenberg and Princess Beatrice of the United Kingdom. Raised in the British royal family, she spoke fluent English, German, and Spanish, making her an ideal consort for Alfonso. The image shows Princess Ena wearing an elegant hat adorned with feathers and a fur collar, adding to her regal appearance. The 13th century-inspired background further emphasizes the historical significance of the occasion. Ena's marriage to Alfonso marked the end of the First Spanish Republic and the restoration of the Bourbon monarchy.
