Sibell, born into the noble Lumley family, was the wife of two prominent English figures of the time: first, Victor Alexander, the 4th Earl of Grosvenor, and later, George Wyndham, Member of Parliament. The Countess's elegant and refined appearance is evident in her stylish attire, which includes a high-necked, long-sleeved dress with a fitted bodice and full skirt, accessorized with a delicate lace shawl. George's political career flourished, and he served as Postmaster General in the Liberal government from 1886 to 1889.
